Timeline

All courses recommended by the Ministry of Education as enshrined  in the approved National Curriculum are taught. Promotion: To be Eligible for promotion, a student is required to PASS all subjects with a minimum of 70% Yearly Averages. Click the Button Below to view the Curriculum

MKS Vocational & Technical Institute

All High School students will have an option of doing any of the below vocational courses selected for high school:

  • Electricity
  • Plumbing
  • Building COnstruction 
  • Catering
  • Tailoring
  • Interior Decoration
  • Cosmetology
  • Computer
  • Soap Scient
  • Hotel Management

Vocational/Trade classes are not compulsory for students. Candidates for vocational school who are not students of Light Academy should check campus for details on the school fees.

Academic Class Time — 8:00 SAM – 3:00 PM
Vocational Classes Time — 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Free for high school students)

SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT PLAN

First Payment Plan – 

Second Payment Plan – January 31, 2020

Third Payment Plan – march 30, 2020

Note: No student will be allowed to sit in class unless the first installment payment of the school fees is made in full. Parents or Guardians should kindly note that our payment plan is by installment and not semester.

Holding everything constant, students registering for the 12th Grade shall only pay WASSCE online registration as stipulated in the breakdown of registration items, provided the GOL will pay the WASSCE fees. Otherwise, parents or guardians will be informed of WASSCE fees when the academic year begins.

 

Uniform and PE Uniform

All parents should get the uniform samples on campus to sew for their children

  • P.E. Outfit + Uniform $45.00 USD
  • It is not compulsory to buy your uniform on campus

EAR PHONES / MOBILE PHONES

The bringing and the use of earphones/mobile phones or laptops on campus is forbidden. Any phone caught with student on campus will never be returned to him/her. Violators will be suspended or expelled. This measure is intended to control  the illicit use of electronic devices by students whilst on campus
